Our Mission
Breastfeeding is a personal choice, and if a woman chooses to do so, they should be able to nurse whenever and wherever they need to. An environment where they feel safe and at ease is every moms right, no matter where they choose to express.
Lactl is on a mission dedicated to providing private and dignified spaces for moms when they want them. Our screens offer a private, safe, and hygienic room to be created in an instant which can still be multi-useful when retracted.
Every mom's experience with pumping will be different, and every mom will have a preference for where they feel comfortable nursing. We provide a privacy solution that is available when they need it.
Manifesto:
We believe that breastfeeding is a personal choice and that every woman who chooses to breastfeed, pump or nurse their child at work should be able to do so whenever and wherever they feel most comfortable. We also deeply understand that it is not a viable choice for so many women, so we hope to encourage and support every mom's decision.
Fed is best
Lactl believes that whilst breast is best, we wholly support fed is best. How you feed your child is a personal choice and should be supported no matter what.
Breastfeeding is amazing
Lactl believes that breastfeeding is a wonderful, healthy and natural function that no mother should be denied based on cultural, social, economic, or other circumstances.
Their right to space
Lactl believes that all working moms deserve a private, clean, and comfortable place to use a breast pump or breastfeed - anywhere, anytime.
Shouldn’t stop you working
Lactl believes that moms returning to work is amazing, but that doesn’t mean she should have to pump in a bathroom, storage area, or any other undesirable location.
Breastfeeding inequality
There are too many mothers who don’t receive equal opportunities, education, facilities or support to breastfeed. Lactl wants to help support every mother's experience, and help change the culture surrounding breastfeeding - at work and beyond.
Workplaces should support moms
25% more women breastfeed (to 6-months) if their workplace provides lactation rooms and breaks to express.1
Help us support working moms and revolutionize the culture of breastfeeding.
